Located in Northern Jackson Hole, the Hatchet Resort is a historic gem nestled in Moran, WY. Fully renovated in the spring of 2014, the Hatchet offers a glimpse of the life of early settlers to Jackson Hole. Built in 1954 to support motorists and tourism new to our region, the Hatchet is honored to be listed with the Teton County Historical Preservation Board.
Uniquely situated at the gateway to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park, the Hatchet
combines western charm with an authentic Jackson Hole experience.

Secluded and fully accessible, the Hatchet sits on seven spectacularly scenic acres of national forest land with views of Mount Moran to the west. A prized location for corporate groups, board retreats, family reunions, and weddings from May through October. It’s also perfect for simply relaxing surrounded by views of the magnificent Teton Range.
